I just received my ITA and since I have studied in Italy for 3 years, I need to submit the police clearance from there. I'm flying to Milan in order to do them but I'm a bit confused regarding the translation of documents.
1. Do I need to get the documents translated in the country where the certificates were issued? (i.e.: Italy)
2. Is any translator able to do the job as long as it get sworn? (if I understand correctly that is the affidavit)
3. After getting it sworn the translator also told me that I need to get the prosecutor general's stamp if the documents are for foreign use?
4. After getting all those stamps, do the documents also need to attested by the Canadian consulate in Milan?
5. Is there anything I'm missing that I need to do while in Milan? since I'll be there only for a week
