hi group ,
I know it’s looks bit difficult but still I want to enquire from the experts , is there any way in which I can re validate my and my family old immigration and landing documents (about 18 years old)
TIA

What exactly do you mean by re validate. Were you and your family once upon a time PRs and now live outside Canada. Need more background to understand what you think you are trying to do.

Ya your understanding is right , have been granted the PR status and we spent we spent some time in CANADA and then couldn’t countinue our stay in CANADA - only of my son has a PR card and and other son and me and my wife had landing documents ( paper) .
I hope you understand my case now

There is no way to apply to revalidate your documents. If you want to try to keep your old PR status, then you would have to fly to the US and try to enter Canada by land without being reported for failing to meet the PR residency requirement. Given it's been so long since you lived in Canada, you're almost certainly be reported at which point IRCC will begin the process to revoke your PR status and then you will be forced to leave Canada.

At this point it would make much more sense to renounce your PR status and reapply from scratch if you still qualify. I don't think it's going to be possible for your entire family to keep your old PR status.

If your children want to keep their PR status on their own and they are under 21 years old, they may be able to apply for a PRTD independently and be able to keep their PR status by claiming H&C and saying they were removed from the country as children. However this will only work for them if they are the right age. This does not help you or your wife.

Thanks for the execelent information , my both kids are under 21 ,one will be 21 next year March , what would you advise the first thing they are required to do immediately from out side CANADA to hook up

Please keep in mind they will be going to USA next year for study , and their student visa should not be effected by canada case

If they are going to the USA next year to study, then I don't see any point in applying for a PRTD to Canada under H&C. This only makes sense if your sons plans to move to Canada to study and live in Canada immediately. Otherwise there's no point since they won't be able to meet the residency requirement to keep their Canadian PR status.
