Sorry for so many posts lately. My brain is starting to hurt from all of these tedious, wordy forms and guides.
So here is my question. While my wife and I were still in Korea, she got the documents that CIC requires translated and notarized. But here is our problem: we only have one of each document. What happens if CIC loses these documents or asks us to send them again at a later date?
For example, we have our Korean Marriage Certificate and attached to it is a translation of the document and the notary's seal/information (4 pages total). Is it acceptable to photocopy this document and send that photocopy with our application?
This wouldn't be a notarized copy, but a photocopy of a notarized copy. I'm just worried that if these documents somehow get lost that we won't be able to replace them.
I hope this question makes sense and someone can help us out here.
