1-888-242-2100 application number to pull file. I got lucky and got a super cool agent who told me the info.
Yes the number is correct to call from Canada but these days they are having technical difficulties and they are not providing the file status so better directly talk to agent from this number just follow instructions

So Pre arrival and Decision made are 2 seperate things. I thought they send pre arrival only when ecas is updated to Decision made. I don't understand how their system works. Its Its so long and frustrating to wait

AOR Received.
10-01-2019
I received an email with AOR2 from the London Visa Office saying that if we have not had any updates by the 9-month mark of our application (July 05), we could contact them. We did, and they told us nothing (it "was in process"). Since then we've sent them another email, I called the CIC today (who told me they don't get updates on applications once they've reached their local visa offices) and then sent an email to my local MP because I heard they can officially request updates on behalf of their constituents. I'm hoping at least one of these things may push things further along or even give us an idea of how our application is going.

This is so incredibly frustrating, it's really hard putting life on hold and not being able to make important life decisions because we've been waiting to hear if our application has been approved.

Yes you are right, we all made our own decisions when we signed up for this process.
I thought the process would be more fair and linear at the start but realized quickly it's not.

You have done everything you can unfortunately waiting is the hardest part. So, if you are ' pulling your hair out ' then my
suggestion would be go and visit your spouse. Spend time together. This is what I did and it made the waiting go by
much faster except for the long flights and travel costs. I know this helped our application but each is different.
Just be aware the MP may not be too interested because 12 months has not passed and the LVO is known to be very slow.

I understand your frustrations and had to make ' important life decisions ' after I ran out of beer!
Hang in there it's not the end of the world.

A couple PPRs were released in the FB group yesterday. So frustrating to see bcoz they're both short 3 months processing.
