hi,
Recently, my Pr application got cancelled and i received a letter stating that the spouse police clearance had expired. Upon checking, they mentioned the date ( which was the issuing date of the passport) assuming that date to be the issuing date of the police clearance certificate and the cancelled my application.
Please tell me if anyone else faced this issue and how to contact them to tell them it’s a mistake at their end to reopen the case.

Thanks

Does the PCC clearly state the date it was issued? If it's such an obvious mistake, then use the webform and write to them asking them to reopen the case. Attach pictures explaining the error, and be polite.

IRCC may reopen the case if the error was clearly theirs.

Yes the PCC clearly states its issuing date and passport number and its issuing date separately.
I had raised a webform as soon as it had been cancelled. It has been a month today and I haven’t heard from them nor have they reopened the case or made changes to the profile. Any idea what i should do?

There's nothing you can do but wait. You may want to begin the process of reapplying if you have enough points to get an ITA again.

Reapply and they might just cancel it again due to their mistake then? Anyone else facing this issue? I just hope they reopen my case.

When you reapply, attach a letter explaining the circumstances of your first refusal, and point out the dates on the PCC. Not much else you can do - you can't force them to reopen, though they may since this appears to be their mistake. You should still be prepared to reapply in case they don't reopen.

Any idea after how long do they usually reopen a case or reply to a case specific enquiry?

No, sorry. You can search the forum; I seem to recall people saying it's usually at least a month.
