Hello all, my wife went to canada for Jan intake in 2019, I applied for spouse open work permit along with my baby girl(her visitor visa)on April 6 and gave biometrics on 11th of April. I am still waiting no response? What to do?

And one more thing I came to know that open work permit comes under work permit extension when we check processing time on

There's no maximum.
Ok thanks.
There's no maximum.
My 7 friends applied for same but they applied also I mean they applied for their visa first which they got in 7 to 25 days and later they applied for their kids who also got visitor visa in 10 to 12 days. now my lawyer says we should withdraw my daughter's application and reapply once I get the visa. What is your opinion?

It’s case by case. Your friends processing times are completely unrelated to your own so there is no point comparing them to yours.

I got the medical request on 22 July and done my medical on 24th and my daughter passed her medical on 26th and I cleared mine on 29th but didn't get the passport request. So how long should I wait?

It has only been 2 days. There are processing times and lots of other applications being processed at the same time you have to be a bit patient.
