Hey folks please help,,, im applying online for a Dubai PCC for my wife. After uploading the documents, the next page is talking about some registered mailing address with PO BOX. To the best of my knowledge they send the certificate online. What is the essence of that page? And it is having a complulsory X that we must be filled out. Clarify me please
They need your current address nothing more. That will go in there database.
So you don’t need to worry about that. I gave the present residential address here in Canada and received the PCC by email in after applying for it online

Hello there!! Please ,someone who already got Police certificate from UAE , after applying on line on Dubai police website , you can receive only e mail version. What's next? Do I need to print my electronic version and go to the embassy to legalize certificate? The problem is that my immigration lawyer says that government of Canada do not accept electronic versions!!! And im out of solutions! My friend in Abu Dhabi went to local police there and they refused to give him anything.

Electronic copy is perfectly accepted.
I did it last year for my PR application.

Provide both your new passport and copy of your old passport(front and back page) along with the visa page.
You can use any cc whether it’s in your name or someone else as long the payment is accepted

Hi there,
It only allows for one picture for the passport on the site

Provide your current mobile number whether it is the Canadian one or the Indian one. That goes in to their records only. They would not contact you generally speaking

Hello Guys,

I would like to share my personal experience in getting police certificate for UAE. I never expected that the process is so simple and it costs 320 AED only. You should have your Emirates ID # with you which you held when you were a resident there ( doesn´t matter if it has expired)

1. Go to Dubai Police Website www.dubaipolice.gov.ae
2. Go to Services -> More
3. Click On Police Clearance Certificate
4. Click Access Service
5. Select 'Outside UAE' in 'I am located?' section
6. Fill out all other information and in "Do you have Emirates ID" section, select "Yes" and then input your
Emirates ID which you used to hold while you were a resident there.
7. Upload your Passport, Photo and Residency Page Copy
8. Click Next
9. Enter your Address (Can be your current address in any country)
10. Enter Payment details. Card being used should be a GCC card.

Thats it. One the payment is submitted, you will get certificate in your email in 1-2 days. They cross-check your information using Emirates ID number.

I hope it helps.

Thanks
Faheem

Hello Faheem,

Kindly let us know how long is UAE PCC valid.
Is it ok to apply for it before receiving the ITA?

Thanks in advance.

The online form is linked above, you need to select "outside UAE" for your location and "No" when asked if you have Emirates ID.
To download the fingerprint card, there's a link in the online form under "Biometric Card Photocopy". Although it says you need to pay via GCC-issued cards, there are people here that managed to pay using other credit cards. In my case, I was able to even use a debit card (Philippines).

Now the fingerprints, there's 3 things you need to do:
1) Make sure your fingerprints are taken by an authorized person.
2) After 1, it needs to be authenticated by your country's Foreign Affairs department.
3) After 2, it needs to be authenticated by the UAE Embassy in your country.
Please note that the fingerprinting process may slightly differ depending on which country you're coming from---Some countries have the police do the fingerprints, some countries have services where they will do steps 2&3 for you altogether, and some have all-in-one services, etc. But no matter how it's done, those 3 things listed are what Dubai Police's going to look for on your fingerprint card.

When all things are settled**, you need to send your authenticated fingerprints, 2 nos. of passport-sized pics, your payment receipt (for good measure), passport photocopy and previous UAE residence visa passport page photocopy to:

Criminal Investigation Department
Good Conduct Certificate Section
Dubai Police Headquarters
P.O. Box 1493, Dubai, UAE

** I placed all of these in one envelope/folder, and marked clearly on the outside 'To: CID Good Conduct Certificate Section', 'Re: Police Clearance Certificate Application' and lastly my reference no. As I don't frequent the forums, I hope the others with the same case can refer to this. Happy new year everyone!

Hi @glassjaw09,@bimale4bipeople

i worked in Abu Dhabi UAE last March 2013 to March 2014. i don't have any copy of my EID so i did the fingerprinting (Philippine NBI Clearance attested by Dept of Foreign Affairs and UAE embassy) & other requirement ready and i have a friend who's going back to UAE this July 25 who's gonna submit/apply n my behalf but i want to try this option too so that i can get my UAE Police Clearance Certificate sooner and i believe it's cheaper for my friend going to UAE police station and apply.

I'm scared if i apply online and send my docs they will not receive it and will be lost. all my effort securing the finger print will turn to waste. any suggestion or recommendation ?

Thank you.

One more question if I may,
I have made multiple entries to UAE after attaining 18 years of age, which when added would come up to 6 months. However, I have not stayed in UAE for 6 months continuously.
I am still required to get a PCC?
