There is no limit but it will be quite hard to secure a work permit or PR.

Getting a job as a professor for Canadians with PhDs is hard enough. Most are not successful and often move abroad. Unless you have world class qualifications and are known in your field throughout the world I can’t imagine you would be offered a teaching position as an older person.

as I already stated there are no jobs on this forum and it is incredibly hard to get a job in Canada unless you have authorization to work in Canada first.
