do you have any idea why the delay? it seems a lot of draw 55 and 56 are in this situation
Great to share MPNP experiences here, it is really a soothing ointment to anxiety and bp.
Please my status has been in assessment in process since June 7th as well ..draw #56 no call to sponsor or any verifications from past and present employer. I do not know the reason for the delay.
any update would be appreciated from members please.

Hello All,
My friend applied for Mpnp and chose Brandon as city she wishes to reside. Her sponsor lives in Winnipeg and during the application for EOI, they never asked if she has a relative in Brandon - rather they asked if she has a relative in Manitoba which she clicked ''yes''.
Gurus in the house - please advise how best she should respond to this letter to avoid rejection of her application. This is the decision stage.

This letter is in reference to your application for nomination by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) received on November 24, 2018.
As stated in the MPNP Policy and Procedures http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MPNP-Policy-Guidelines-public.pdf, points for Regional Immigration can only be considered in cases where the applicant has:
 clearly demonstrated that they have an established connection to their destination outside of Winnipeg through existing family or social ties; and
 clearly and comprehensively outlined their plans for establishing their work and social life in the respective region of Manitoba
We note the following concerns:
 In your Expression of Interest (EOI) submitted September 16, 2018, you declared that your destination in Manitoba is Brandon
 Your declared family connection to Manitoba, resides in Winnipeg
 You have not clearly demonstrated that you have an established connection to Brandon
Based on the above concerns, it has been assessed that you are not eligible to receive the 50 Expression of Interest ranking points for Regional Immigration. A recalculation of your EOI ranking points based on the above inconsistencies show that you would have scored 569.
Your application was drawn on September 28, 2018 and the lowest ranking score for the stream which you were selected in was 592. Based on the recalculation of your EOI ranking points, you would not have been drawn on September 28, 2018 and the Letter of Advice to Apply would not have been sent.
You have until August 5, 2019 to respond to our concerns.

The best you can do is to write a powerfully convincing letter to the PO confirming
1. Why you selected Brandon eg cheaper home, more jobs and less populated unlike Winnipeg

2. Convince the PO that your supporter have a plan to visit you once in two weeks and also ensure telephone chat on a regularly basis so as to settle properly.

3. Also inform your PO that you have also discussed getting an accomodation in bradon which your supporter has agreed to do for you based on your choice of settlement.

4. Assure your PO that you are more than ready to economically add value to the city of Brandon.

Thank me later

Was there any ADR before now?
