I don't know how exactly you explained, but try to explain anywhere that might create confusion for them. Make everything as clear as possible

@Mr_nobody , thanks for being still around, giving the fact that i have passed everything and now in security screening, have not received my GCMS notes after two months, is this the right time now to ask for CBSA notes? what does this notes provide anyway, i noticed from your signature that you got yours post PPR, any suggestion? and what should i write precisely for request details when i submitting my request?

CBSA notes is exactly the same as GCMS notes but without redaction! If you haven't received the other one, yes you can request a new one. I remember the same thing happened last December, when they dropped a lot of GCMS applications. It may have happened to you as well.

Yes, I got mine after ppr. from CBSA note, you can see the exact date the your SS started.

For the request, just ask them to release the information regarding your permanent residence application. Make sure to include your application number, UCI, etc. and make sure to ask them to release information ONLY regarding your PR application. Otherwise, they release information from every application that you had. For me, they released all the info about my previous study permit and work permits as well. The file was around 500 pages and it took them 2-3 months to release it

CBSA notes will have details regarding what is going on with your security, if you know your security is in process and its been more than 1 month, you can order CBSA notes. CBSA notes look like GCMS notes but in GCMS notes the Security related issues are retracted.

Thanks for detailed info @Mr_nobody, i just ordered also CBSA note for hack of it, this system reminds me of "Chah Jamkaran", you just dropping money or request to it and hope for a response that normally not coming out

I also spoke with my MP and they said when an officer asks for security checks for an applicant they wait until they get the results and if not receive it in 3 months they will go and check again... Since my security check had started in April 1st my MP suggested to wait until mid-July.

30 days from the day you applied.
CBSA and CSIS notes are useful when your security is under process.
All cases for security go to CBSA but in some cases, CSIS is involved.
CBSA and GCMS looks the same, the only difference is that the CBSA notes have security-related comments which are retracted in the GCMS notes.

You need to keep emailing IRCC-ATIP to take update from IRCC if the notes are delayed.

For me, it was exactly 30 days for two of them. But, I remember that the same thing happened last December. The processing time of some of the ATIP requests got too long and people started ordering new one. Then, this January, they started giving ATIP notes in only 3 weeks for some people!

At your stage, there is no benefit in ordering any type of notes. They only give you the last status. Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do other than waiting.
CBSA notes is the same as GCMS notes bu without redaction. It will tell you if you are under SS and when exactly started. (I think you already know all the answers)
CSIS notes is just a one page doc telling you if they received a request and if they finished their evaluation.
You can apply for them if you want. They give you some information and help you with passing the time.

I know what you are saying. I was there and I know how frustrating it is. They give pr to people from all countries around the world and they are very well aware that a high percentage of them might fake their job experience. But, they don't give to people who have been in this country studying for long time. I still don't understand their process. It is the same as the US. They don't give visa or green card to some of the top students from Iran, but they give green card using diversity program to people who sometimes even don't know a word of English.

Sounds Paris is slept again! All of my case is passed except my security which started 18 April my CBSA notes said I am under comprehensive security screening! 468 days! Really getting exhausted!

@rajahoomi am in the same situation i sent another follow up for notes, i just called CIC, my wife passed background check and I am the pending one, they did not mention the type of security and when this has started, how do you know your start date for background check?

A background check which shows on your account is for - Medical, Criminality, and Security. To know more details you need to have GCMS notes and if you know that the security is under process, you can order CBSA notes

There is 1 security activity on my file the

I don't know what type of security check they are doing and what is the due date for... I guess I should order CBSA notes...

Fro your eligibility, look at the notes at the end of the notes. There you can find more details on job experience letter, etc. As long as there is no sign of review required, you should be fine.
For security, check the following sections:
1- admissibility
2- security status on second page
3- activity 1-5
4- Notes
Do you see any redaction with s.15, s.21 or something similar on top of the page?
