Outland application within Canada

Hello,

We live in France but are on vacation in Canada so we decided to send the package within Canada.

Its an outland spouse sponsorship application.

Question: For the return address of the package we put my home in Canada (the return address on the Canada Post flat rate box must be in Canada). If the package is returned for any reason, IRCC sends it back to the address on the box or the address listed in the forms?

We are worried that they send it back to Canada instead of France.

It would be sent back to the sponsor's address listed in the app.
