I am the principle applicant of the PR application. My wife is the dependant and would like to switch to a different job. Would that affect our PR processing status? Please help.

Yes. We have already submitted the PR application. Applied through express entry-federal skilled worker program. We both have jobs in Canada but my wife suddenly wants to quit her job.
