Thanks. But when trying to fill the questionnaire there's an option that is requesting the purpose of the visit, someone is suggesting I should choose business. What do you think?

It depends WHY you want to attend a "Church Conference". Are you in some form of administrative capacity?, in which case "business" would be appropriate. If you are just going as a non-administrative "member", maybe "other" is more applicable?
