my girlfriend is in canada on student visa and its almost 6 months and we thought we would be able to live apart but its quite difficult and we have never been this apart in last 5 year so now we got to know that i can go as on spouse visa if we are married so i wanted to know that if she come back in her summer break or when her course is over and marry then how i can apply for a spouse visa does she need to be here when i apply spouse visa

do i need to wait for some months before she apply open work permit from canada for me she will be in here for 1 week only and then she will be back in canada because her next couse starts
