[Ppr-2019]

I just got off the phone after talking to a very good agent, she was listening to what I said and was patient too.So AOR 24th November,eligibility-met,security/criminality not started.She said at the moment she can’t send a reminder to the VO will have to call again by June end ,to ask them send a reminder..
Guess this will go on till July As the security and criminality haven’t started as yet getting ppr by this month’s end is a little difficult this is what she said

I think for most of us Criminality/Security not yet started. Is there a pre-requisite step to be completed before they can start Criminality/Security? Or is it just that they send security/criminality check in batches?

True that! so that we can end up spending more money ordering GCMS notes and they can make money! No transparency in processing our applications. Takes a toll on our mental health! We should all tweet to Canadian PM and #IRCC

The money you pay goes to 3rd parties, government doesn't make any money from that. I wish they would allow overseas people to apply themselves, charge everyone $20 to $50 per note depending on the speed of delivery and make this operation faster and sustainable.

Oh the insanity - someone from April 2019 got their PPR. It’s just so stupid that they would go for new ones rather than clearing their backlog. I don’t understand what their crazy logic is!!

To finalize as many cases as soon as possible to meet the quota. Although, I doubt they would face any consequences if they don't meet the quota. They can easily say that they are finalizing the same number of cases, it's just there are too many.

I get that. I just find it stupid. I really hope everyone pending in November gets it soon. I also know how depressing it is to see people months ahead of you getting it before and you’re still stuck

So spoke to 2 agents today, the first one was very rude. He didn't even bother to check anything, just said you were already contacted for your remainder so why call again? There is nothing new, call back in August. So I told him "May the force be with you" and hung up

Second time got hold of a super wonderful agent. She listened to everything I had to say and understood my frustration. Sadly, no changes in my case and status still remains the same;
Eligibility - Recommended Pass, Criminality - Passed, Security - Not Started.

She agreed that it is surprising a decision has not been made yet since my case has been in queue for final review for quite some time.

According to her the officer must be waiting for some checks to complete and for whatever reason he has not received these reports yet and that could be why my case has been delayed. Otherwise she can't see a reason why it's prolonged.

She further explained if I was marked for Security Screening or Review Required then my case will go through additional verifications and will not be in queue for the officer to have a review. Since the officer is keeping it in queue it does indicate he is ready to assess my case.

Asked me to wait till month end

Do all the applicants need to physically present there? I have a 2 yr old. Won't take her unless required.

all are not required, for non accompanying adult consent form is needed , for minor either of the parents can sign consent form
