A bit off topic from the predictions but I was wondering about a few things post-ITA.

I dont know yet how the personal history section looks like but:

1. If you have small jobs/internships that you did not claim points for, does it need to be mentioned there or in an LOE? Especially thinking about internships since they were a requirement of the study programs.

2. If you have traveled to countries by road, or by flight without passport stamps, should they be mentioned as well? For example, I was living in the schengen area and didn't need any visa to travel to schengen countries and they don't stamp your passports. Do I need to mention that as well?

Hi All, I have been following Ray of Hope Thread since January and I must say that as the name indicates this discussion threads give a lot of hope for people like me.
My current CRS is 447 (Masters degree and CLB 9) and my NOC is 1241 (Administrative Assistant). I have a total of 3 years experience from 2010 to 2013. At present I am a stay at home mom. Since 447 is not a good score any more, I need to know what will be my chances of PNP?

No they won't. I used to think the same, but to do so would require scrapping or significantly altering the entire 2021 plan. That would be counter productive.
Post 2021, would be a different matter, but as far as the next couple of years are concerned, the trend is to stay. They won't go back on their own word. The entire world image of Canada rests upon refugee protection and immigration. Backtracking would only lower its prestige and put it on a similar pedestal as the Trump regime (which Canadians would, of course, never approve of).

Besides, IRCC will keep functioning during election months. Elections are not IRCC's concern. Not that it would just put the entire system in suspended animation just because their might be a different ruling party at the centre post elections. (The whole idea goes again the fundamentals of Canadian politics, not to say that it reeks of stupidity.)

And to think of that, it brings me to another assertion of yours, of which you seem quite positive i.e the conservatives coming into power. That's a long shot there, friend. How so sure?

Who made those 2021 goals??? Liberals made that goal once liberals will loose conservatives will change everything. If you see numbers oF ITAs there is a big difference in numbers before and after election

I would like to ask how to explain the work experience and masters degree at the same time. Do we have to give LOE after ITA? My masters would complete this year. Can I use that alongside my full-time work experience in India?

450+ --> 62
449 and below --> 115

If this represents actual crs pool, then it will take many draws to breach 445 cut off in 2019 I guess. Though I'm sitting at 463, I'm so nervous about getting ITA, cant imagine how people below 450 are feeling. May CIC take all necessary action to clear 450+ people.

That's really a massive assumption - that the targets in 2020/2021 won't change under a Conservative goverment. Targets are just that - targets; it's not law. Target can change when governments change and Canada would still probably be seen as one of the most welcoming.

The one plus though is that Andrew Sheer appears to be for economic migration. When any changes are made to immigration targets, they will probably touch the Express Entry programme last.

And with regards to the Conservatives coming into power, how is that a long shot? Most polls have them leading at the moment

If an election was called right now, Conservatives would probably win; the Liberals at the moment need to play catch up. It is possible, Trudeau has a lot of star power; but only time will tell

By 'long shot', I simply meant the volatility of politics. There is still time, you never know what happens. Even if Liberals were leading in pre polls, I would still call a prediction a long shot. 'Nothing becomes sure until it happens'.
We all were quite sure about a draw happing this past Wednesday, but it didn't right?
Predictions aren't really any good and half the times opinion polls and surveys fail.

As for target, no. I didn't talk about numbers. I talked about the progressive increase. 2019-2020-2021, all are supposed to outdo their predecessor. Even if conservatives come and denounce the plan, they won't alter it significantly. At best they ll retain status quo from the moment they step in.
Besides, Immigration is just a front issue. They ll pretend to care about it. Not that they are actually supposed to do anything about it. They sure can make it seem like they are doing things, and that's what actually matters! Convincing your fan base that they are doing something about it!
The average Canadian isn't going to check IRCC draws every Wednesday lol. They see the immigrants on the ground (including students).

If this represents actual crs pool, then it will take many draws to breach 445 cut off in 2019 I guess. Though I'm sitting at 463, I'm so nervous about getting ITA, cant imagine how people below 450 are feeling. May CIC take all necessary action to clear 450+ people.

Wrong! There are many people under 450 staying silent since they know still they are not the main stream. Once 450+ clear off then so many will tell their score. So 62 and 115 is not the actual count. It is more crowded than 115

I'm at 447 and have scope to improve my score to 458-460 by improving our IELTS scores.

I think this is now the only way to improve our score by another 8 points and keep it above 455 a least. We lost 5 points a few weeks back because of the age and from 452, the score went down to 447.

If I still have to keep my options open to Canada, the only way is to score CLB10 in IELTS and will have one year and with a hope of getting an ITA for 455, I will wait for one year.
