The internal tracker doesn't give an accurate representation of the pool distripution
Is there any source to give actual representation of pool? All are just assumptions, I took the representative sample basis actual scores available in the forum.

They did not accept the passports of my wife and daughter as valid because they were issued by Somalia. Now I am processing for them another passport since they have dual citizenship.

Dear MOHAMED ------ ----------:
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has reviewed your application for permanent residence. We have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Your application is rejected for being incomplete.

Specifically, your application does not include the following elements:

- Copy of passport/travel documents - Failure to provide a copy of the Biographical data page of a Valid Passport or Travel document – the Somalia Passport provided is not considered an acceptable document and is not valid for travel to Canada. Please see the link below for acceptable / unacceptable documents.

"

Very uncommon rejection. I was not aware of this.
Oh man, so sad. You had been really unlucky. CIC could have asked for a new passport as an ADR. These days, each draw is smashing our dreams with higher CRS cut-off. Nevertheless, I hope you would make it soon. good luck.

Lol I’m November I believe There will be no Draw due to election and after that Conservatives will increase CRS And decreases ITA
No they won't. I used to think the same, but to do so would require scrapping or significantly altering the entire 2021 plan. That would be counter productive.
Post 2021, would be a different matter, but as far as the next couple of years are concerned, the trend is to stay. They won't go back on their own word. The entire world image of Canada rests upon refugee protection and immigration. Backtracking would only lower its prestige and put it on a similar pedestal as the Trump regime (which Canadians would, of course, never approve of).

Besides, IRCC will keep functioning during election months. Elections are not IRCC's concern. Not that it would just put the entire system in suspended animation just because their might be a different ruling party at the centre post elections. (The whole idea goes again the fundamentals of Canadian politics, not to say that it reeks of stupidity.)

And to think of that, it brings me to another assertion of yours, of which you seem quite positive i.e the conservatives coming into power. That's a long shot there, friend. How so sure? ;)

I want to draw your attention towards 2015.. Voting was on 19 October 2015.. Draw was conducted on - October 2, October 23, November 13, November 27, and so on..
Exactly! IRCC, as an organisation, has its own roles and responsibilities. It has nothing to do with elections. It will function as it always did.

Like imagine the situation, if the entire immigration system is put on hold just because IRCC wants to wait for the future rulers to claim the throne.
Won't that completely nullify the genuineness and integrity of the system signifying that IRCC is nothing but an opportunistic political pawn?

Too much to lose!

They don't get the points right away though, they have to go through application process before they get the 600 points.
Please can someone explain this provincial nomination better for me? I was at 455 but lost 5 points on the first of this month. Considering provincial nomination. Can someone advice?

That's really a massive assumption - that the targets in 2020/2021 won't change under a Conservative goverment. Targets are just that - targets; it's not law. Target can change when governments change and Canada would still probably be seen as one of the most welcoming.

The one plus though is that Andrew Sheer appears to be for economic migration. When any changes are made to immigration targets, they will probably touch the Express Entry programme last.

And with regards to the Conservatives coming into power, how is that a long shot? Most polls have them leading at the moment

If an election was called right now, Conservatives would probably win; the Liberals at the moment need to play catch up. It is possible, Trudeau has a lot of star power; but only time will tell

The IRCC is part of government. And yes, it can be used as a political pawn depending on the Minister in charge. It's not about being genuine or having integrity. TheMminister can set targets and adjust them as he/see she's fit depending on circumstance.
