Hi,

I would like to sponsor my older brother of 46yrs. We have no parents alive. I am a PR resident with no relatives in Canada only 1st cousins. Can I sponsor him? I am also a student, I was in school full time from 2017 and didn't have an income. Currently I am not attending school; so If I work for the rest of the year and meet the required income at the end of this year will I still be qualified to start sponsor him next year?

It sounds like you can sponsor him based on the information you've provided. You will need to meet income requirements in order to sponsor him. You will need to include a NOA tax document to prove you made the income. You must show that you've made around $32K or more this year to qualify.
