So I finally advanced to IP2. I was advised I cleared eligibility review on 29th May. Apparently, I have also passed Criminality and Security. I only just found out about this as I stopped checking the portal daily. It was killing my moral to see no movement. Consequently, I'm unsure what dates I started and cleared the criminality/security phases but I do know but it was after May 29th and before yesterday June 6th.
So basically I have cleared Eligibility, Criminal and Security now which is good news. I was told that they are now determining whether or not to extend my medical or request a re-medical. Medical is due to expire the last week of July. Apparently, the request for a decision on this was issued May 29th. Looking over the last few pages of this thread this seems to be happening to a lot of us now. I see some people getting re-medical requests and others such as tapiwakaiser getting theirs extended (congrats on your PPR tapiwakaiser!). Does anyone know what their criteria is for deciding between an extension or re-medical request? Obviously, its good news for me either way, just hoping to avoid further delay.

And how did you call the MP office? Seems like it helped.

Thank you , well the MP's facilitated with that information, I just called the MP from my city which is Halifax.

Did you call CIC and they told you over the phone? Or your online portal showed this?

It'll be your turn very soon. Don't stop bugging IRCC for an update once or twice every week and ordering notes. Sometimes these small things lead to some movement or the other.

No medical request, they extend it for another year
