Can I send passport to another country's VAC?

Hello All,
My husband filed for me under the family class sponsorship. My visa office is Accra. I'm currently travelling in the US and has received a PPR. Can I send my passport to another VAC in the US or it has to be my home country? Has anyone tried this with success?

did u get any reply?

If you can send it to any VAC, there's no problem with that and they'll send it to the nearest Visa Office.

I didnt.
I sent an email to Accra Visa Office, but no response. I had to go to Ghana to submit my passport
