yeah i did my medical. i just have one more document to collect and i will upload
Hey Amaya, You applied Trinidad? What date you applied and how long after they requested medical. I noticed a few persons having delays. Best wishes and good luck.

I am currently doing an online application and I see there is a part to upload your medical (the paper the doctor gives you) BEFORE you submit. I will submit my application tomorrow. they don't request medical after you submit in my case, I will submit all documents before applying because the portal requires such to be done. if you didn't submit your medical before you clicked "submit" or submitted your documents via paper application, then that may have caused your delay

ok so I am reading CIC page and you are correct when you say they can request a medical after you submit your application but on my portal, they are asking for medical so I have already done my medical in advance before submitting my application (that will hopefully speed things up)
"We’ll send you instructions on how to get your medical exam done. You must go for your medical exam within 30 days of receiving these instructions."

However I did an upfront medical exam and here is what CIC says:

"If you took an upfront medical exam
You must include a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form that the doctor gave you after your exam. If the doctor works with eMedical, they’ll give you an information sheet print out.

You must attach that form to your paper application. If you apply online, you must upload that form before you can submit your application."

This is the procedure I had followed
