Hi guys!
I have a peculiar case!
I applied for express entry FSW-O in Nov’2018 as a single applicant. During the process, I got married with my girlfriend and informed CIC. I included her as non-accompanying as my points was getting reduced if I included her. Since the application was taking longer than expected, I applied for study permit from India with her accompanying me and it got approved. Now I am on study permit while she is having OWP.
So, my question is- assuming my PR application gets approved and I change my status to PR, will my wife continue having the same visa till it gets expired (2 years) or will her visa get cancelled automatically when I change status to PR, since her visa was granted based on my study permit only?
I plan inland spousal sponsorship once I get PR, but am worried about her status.
Has anyone seen such kind of case? Please advise.

Dear Moderators: Sorry for posting here and in international students section as well. I’m unsure which is the right section to post as my case being such a peculiar one. Please feel free to delete the one in incorrect section. Thanks!

Nothing peculiar. Her work permit will remain valid after you become a PR.
