Is it ok for a November applicant to call Cic and ask for his application status , and probably test time?

Of course but 90% that they will just tell you to wait as you are still within the 12-month processing time. You can also check you eCas if you havent and check spreadsheet to see processing time in your location. Good luck!

This has probably been asked a lot of times but are we allowed to leave Canada after we take oath and get passport? Just to take a few months vacation?

What is your concern? I strongly believe that this question is asked for the first time. What can it be preventing a Canadian citizen to travel with a Canadian Passport?

After you have Canadian citizenship you can even move to totally another country for rest of your life and you will still keep your citizenship. For rest of your life. You never lose citizenship.

If you wouldn't be allowed to leave the country, for what would you need passport in the first place?

Guys, i see that everyone passes citizenship test with high marks, all 18, 19 or 20 out of 20. It must not be that difficult or everyone on here has a great memory! I read the book everyday, several pages, and do practice questions on an app. Im taking this seriously. Anything other tip?

I honestly read it half way day day before and rest of it while sitting on taxi on my way to the test.

I do encourage to read it twice before the test so there’s less stress. But to be honest, the test is really easy and I would have passed it easily without reading the book at all.

Read it at least twice!!!
