Renewal of visa less than 6 months of expiry

My mother's visa is expiring in november(less than 6 months) and her passport is cancelled and new one has arrived. My visa has expired. Can my mom apply visa before expiry with me so that we get it together. We like to apply together.?????????
Or i have to apply one to visit canada this summer.
Your truthful help will be really appriciated.

She can apply for a new one with you if she wants to.

But there is no 6 month rule for visas. The visa is valid until the expiry date, even if she has a new passport. If she wants to use her current visa, she has to travel to Canada with both passports.

But do whatever you want. If you ask me, there's no point in your mom applying with you unless she plans to travel to Canada again/often after November.

Firstly thanks for answering. We have furthur plans to visit our family in coming year (after november) the question is can she apply before expiry of the current visa and apply with me as we want?
