So I'm deciding to include a Statutory Declaration of Common Law with my application since my evidence is a bit thin in places.

My first question: on the form itself, it asks questions about if we own joint property/insurances etc. IWe only have 1 of these (lease) so I figure I don't have to write an explanation for Q4 since I have the lease. Will the notary need to see the proof as well?

My second question: On the Document Checklist, Question 7 part c needs 2 out of 4 documents. I have notarized letters from friends/family, which I hope satisfies one of the requirements [Other proof that your relationship is recognised by friends/family (e.g. letters etc)]
However, will the Common Law Declaration satisfy the other requirement? [Important documents for you and your spouse showing that you are recognized as each other's spouse]

The Stat Dec doesn't count for much and doesn't show that you are recognized as spouses. What actual common-law proofs do you have?
