Hi, I hope many people join here and share the timeline(2019). I applied for interim pathway as a child care caregiver.

March 21- PR application was received at the case office.

April 3 - received email from CIC about pre-arrival letter, medical exam, police certificate, and extension of work permit.

April 8 - medical exam was done

April 15- medical exam was sent electronically and required documents were received by mail at the case office.

I am still waiting for the final decision. Please share if you have updated news. Thanks all. We are all here to support each other.

Pre arrival email means you passed the eligibility that CIC(=IRCC) requested. I have received my pre arrival email and medical exam requested email at same day.

because i applied with my application but i did not get any response about that. i just get pre arrival letter. am worried

I understand how much you are worried about. I am on the same boat.
I didn’t apply for my work permit extension with PR application. CIC emailed me to apply for extension of my work permit so I followed through what they asked me to do. I am also waiting for extended workpermit.

I was eligible for child caregiver pathway but unfortunately I applied to intrium child caregiver program.
Application received on 13th of May
I am planning to apply for child caregiver also. Let's see what will be reply from IRCC once they open my file. If they accept or return. As I already having 25months of experience as a child caregiver.

because am just thinking you told that received email about your medical or police certificate with your pre arrival email. but i didn't receive it. even i didn't send my police certificate with my application. so am just waiting that immigration officer send me request about that. am really worried because there is no much information about it...

Where are you now? Because whatever pathway are available now for PR application,needs LMIA or Canadian work experience. So you need employer first to get into Canada. Please share your more details.

Hi, I am in Canada now. It is very complicated about my police certificate. I sent two pieces of police certificate( one for Canada and one for my home country).

I have been living in Canada for many years. I have to get a police certificate of Canada.

The agent in the case office requested me send the original police certificate from my home country not Canada’s police certificate.

So I had to send my police certificate from my home country again. If you didn’t send for Canada’s police certificate, they will request.
