Hi guys,

Need your advise on below mentioned situation regarding PCC:

I was sent to Burkina faso (west africa) by my employer to work on a project for 1 yr (16 june 2014 to 15 Dec 2014 & 7 Jan 15 to 7 July 2015). After coming back to home country in July, I started my PR process but was clueless about getting PCC from every country where I have stayed for more then 6 months.

When I tried to get a PCC for Burkina, I got an explanation from the embassy that its done only within the country and unavailable outside the country. Now i can't go back only to get PCC. Also, tried calling the office in Burkina but got no response from there.

Can anyone please suggest me on how to present my case to CIC.

Regards & thanks

Hey everyone,

I haven't stayed in my home country since the age of 18. Only been there for holidays.

Do I need police certificate from there?

Thanks.

Hi Seniors,
Need help regarding PCC in India. During past 10 years I stayed in two states for 7 & 3 years respectively. I got PCC from passport office without duration and PCC from Police Commissioner Office for last 3 years duration stating dates. Will it be ok? or I also need PCC from Police Commissioner for the place I stayed 7 year?
Kindly suggest.
Thanking you in advance.

No. Unless any one or more of those holidays involved you staying in that country for 6 months or longer in a row.

You need one single PCC for one country. Best option is to obtain it from PSK, which u have done already.
This is fine enough. Relax.

If your PCC contains date, I think you may face issues.
As mentioned in another thread posted by a member states that his application was rejected coz he didn't provide PCC for complete 10 years or starting from 18 years.
My PCC is from Pakistan but it does not mention any dates of stay, though, I lived abroad for few years, got their PCC. They can verify by passport stamps.

I am hearing a lot of cases of rejection for Pakistan regarding dates, should I feel lucky I don't have any dates mentioned?
