Hello Guys!!

Anyone from post 20th Nov got their BC updated?

I read only 1 post whose BC got updated (21st Nov).

Was having a pretty bad time wondering why is there no PPR for NOV people...but really happy to see PPR has flooded in for many of you.

My AOR is 28th NOV and I desperately waiting for an update.
My husband is already in Canada on student visa and I am stuck here for our PR (I am the 1st applicant).

Hope to hear some more good news for the rest of us :)

Hey Guys, I really need your help regarding proof of funds.I am planning to show 10 lakhs as Fixed deposit as proof of fund which is in State bank of India. I transferred the money from my savings account to FD account on May 2015 and with tenure of 2 years. In the year 2017, it got automatically renewed, because the maturity date was on May 2017. So, in 2019 this amount will mature again on 23rd May 2019. But I am apply for pr application on May 7th 2019. Will this affect my application. What are the documents that I need to furnish? Currently I have confirmation letter from the Bank in the bank letter head, Old Fd receipts of 2015, online receipt from May 2018 to May 2019 receipt. What are the other documents I need to furnish? Is this enough? Am I missing something? Please help...In the bank confirmation letter the total amount mentioned is as on date May 23rd 2019, should I mention that after May 23rd 2019, the amount will be automatic renewed?

My AOR is 20th Nov. No update.

Congrats to those who received PPR!

At least Ottawa is showing some movement after almost 3 weeks in silence. I’m AOR November 2nd and still in Ip1 though, not even a ghost update since I was asked to pay RPRF, almost 4 months ago :(

I’ve noticed that most PPR reported here today are from people who were just a few days from reaching the 6-months mark, maybe they wanted to dispatch those cases to improve their productivity stats. If that’s true, then I guess that we, who have already passed that mark, are no longer a priority. Or perhaps there’s no real pattern in this process and it’s a mere lottery. The wait is quite painful anyhow. :(

  10. IP2: 4th May changed on the very next day after completing 6 months mark
  11. Received the GCMS notes and Ready for Visa mail today at the same time
