What is the status of Security and Background check?

In March eligibility check was going on in CPC Sydney Nova Scotia, according to the mail we got, in response of CSE and security criminality was not started.
Profile is stuck at "background check not started yet... Which is IP1 I guess.
No update after Dec 12 medical passed
Just 2 mails in response of CSE

Hope I should just wait and hope for the best to happen.
Got transfer certificates for my kids already, as i didn't want to pay the school fee for next academic year, hence was getting restless, as i didn't get the PPR.

Ghost Update: Apri 18th.
CEC inland
It has been 12 days since the ghost update, I am getting more and more anxious.

It looks like you are right and many applications are already exceeding 6 months. In that case, unfortunately, the waiting time will be long and totally unrelated to the promised 6 months

I am afraid to call the agent... I have called 5 times in 5 months..

I'm sorry to whine, but how the hell are FSW-O Single applicants from December end getting PPRs one month ago?! In fact, even for couple applicants, people from mid feb have gotten PPR is 85 days!!

Do we look like idiots to them?! The least we can expect is processing based on application date, or higher CRS score!! There's gotta be some logic. This is simply ridiculous to not even START looking at the application for people from October/Nov and give PPRs to folks from Feb.

I am a silent reader on this forum.
AOR-27 November 2018. FSW -O India. Ottawa visa office. No updates since Med passed. This wait is killing all of us to receive one golden email. I wonder if the PPR emails are coming from outer space or MARS..Wishing for all November applicants to get their PPR emails soon!

If you or anyone else facing this problem were to order GCMS notes, you'd see that they left your file unattended for several months.
I think we overestimate their capabilities when we look at Express Entry as a streamlined and transparent process.

But of course, if we voice even the slightest displeasure at being made to aimlessly wait with no intermittent communication, we're looked at as "ungrateful" immigrants.

My plan personally, is to send them bi-weekly CSE's right after I hit the 6 month mark. I think all we can do is use legally permitted means to ensure that we're not forgotten about.

I talked to an agent today and i am CEC 28 Nov. She mentioned my file still at same status since January and when i asked if a decision will be made before end of may, her response was they are trying their best to process files within 6months but due to workload there might be a delay.
