I go by what is being announced in here and looking at the spreadsheet from this month and pasts. How do you come to that conclusion? I don't think that's true at all. I haven't progressed. Many applicants whose apps were received after mine, including those from the US in this month, Feb and March have been sent both med and biometric request. I have but I stopped in early April when I found out my med passed because I heard that when you call it gets documented on the account. I had called a lot in March because we disassociated from our rep and they still had his info on file and I needed to make sure I had not been sent biometrics yet and I hadn't.
I like that line of thinking but our biometrics were paid and acknowledged on March 6th but we haven't received a biometrics request for my husband yet … almost two months later!! And then, of course, there's that medical request form that has the wrong surname on it for my step daughter that hasn't been changed in just over two months..

I called today and they said there were too many calls and couldn't even put me through to hold, call back. Then the system asked a number of questions and the result of that was they couldn't even find our file. I'm so frustrated right now … call again tomorrow, first thing!!

Hi everyone,
I did biometrics on april 8, on cic account biometrics number is shown but still shows your action is required and we need ur fingerprints. Anyone has same issue?
It shows the same for me as well. Biometrics number generated but status still shows "we do not need fingerprints. Shall contact if we need the same''. It is confusing..

Hi guys. I'm applying through an agent and he says my application has not got to AOR 1 stage. My package was sent at the end of Jan (22-25th). Do you think it's normal? In the tracker I see that most people got it in 30-40 days .

We are still waiting for file transfer. Medicals passed on April 17th and biometrics received on April 16th. Gckey still says "we dont need your finger prints..."

PA side of ecas does not show "we started processing..." yet but gckey says background check is in process. Confusing messaging all around

No AOR1 yet either.
Do you know what may be causing this? Especially now that they have approved our medical and biometric! So what's this delay for? I don't think calling them will give us any idea either.

Hi All
I have been following this forum from quite a while now and its quiet helpful.
I am stuck with an additional documents request, need your urgent advise on it.
I have received a request yesterday stating-
"Birth certificates issued in this country: If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as: o Old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate), and Voter's ID card."
PA from india and do not have voters ID card. Although i do have all the other relevant documents like- 10th, 12th certificate, adhar card, PAN card, school (5th, 10th etc.) report cards.
I am worried about that if not having a voters ID card is gonna be a negative impact.

Please suggest what should i do. Can i send an explanation letter for not having Voters ID card?

So I got a call this morning from High Commission Canada in New Delhi, the lady asked me multiple questions about my relation. We had a civil wedding last year and submitted all the photographs that we took then. She asked me questions regarding the wedding as well. She mentioned that she would call again in case she needed more information.
Has anyone else too gone through something like this?? So does this mean my file has now been moved to NDVO from CPC- M?? There was just no email or any correspondence regarding this.
I am getting a bit worried now...

Well don't worry i was in same situation two weeks ago, so i submitted all my old school records with Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport (Where DOB is highlighted) & driver's license with no baptism certificate.
They just want to makesure about your DOB
Add an explanation letter of why you cannot submit Voter's Id they will consider it
