I was at 443 till yesterday. I'm at 438 now with my Birthday cutting 5 points. Earlier I used to get frustrated with the cutoff points being so high, but now I'm fine. Guys with scores below 445 please be realistic ..Waiting for ITA at low scores and wasting your precious time will not help. Instead try to do something in PNP , where applicable NOC is existing. But low score guys like me, should not be very hopeful for atleast few months. Instead try learning French and increase score or go through some course to get additional degree, or try some other country. Please just don't sit waiting for your turn, as it may take 6 months or more. Miracles do happen. May be I'm wrong ( I wish). But keep PLAN -b ready for your career.. Don't keep Canadian dreams, come in your way of your other dreams. Keep ray of hope alive for even other goals.. All the best. DONT EXPECT MIRACLES..

Yeah I am at 443 today and my wife turns 37 in 3 weeks, we will go back to 438. I took Ielts yesterday as a hedge against her birthday. Our best case scenario is 442. Since that is too low we are going to apply for a student visa, with the hopes that my year of work + a one year certificate for my wife will get the application to the 452 range a year from now. It’s too bad that we can’t just arrive on our own accolades. But I hear it’s difficult to get approval for a student visa when you already have a masters degree.. I guess we will see what happens.

i created my profile march the 28th and i'm at 450 ! do you think i can make it next draw or my profile is fairly new so i will lose to the tie-breaker rule ?

The only worry for you is the tie-breaker. 99% chances of draw will happen at 450 cut-off but we’re not sure about tie-breaker date. Lets hope for the best!

Wait for couple of draws, you’ll be through. From July onwards, cut-off will be below 448 with increased ITAs.

Hello everyone,

While I understand that predicting the draw date is as uncertain as the UKs weather, how certain are we with this 1st May date? I was guessing that it’ll be more likely on the 8th May. The sooner the better though.

299 invitations issued in April 25 draw, raising 2019 total to nearly 4,000.

Those invitations broke down as follows:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 208
International Education Stream: 25
Skilled Workers Overseas: 66
