Hi All
I came to Uk in 2005 on student visa and got student visa extension in 2006 till 2008 . In 2008 I apply post study work visa and then apply high skilled migration programs which was refused in 2011 on allegations of fake degree , after that I file judicial review which also refused , then I move to Ireland as my father was British and was doing his treety rights in Ireland I got temporary stamp for 6 month but sadly permitted residence card was also refused , in the mean time I completed master through distant learning and got my degree I also done Ielts and have scored 7.5 . My question is if I apply Canada immigration on behalf of my degree and work experience do they accept my application? I left Uk without any deportation order . Does fake degree impact on my Canada permanent residence? Please reply
Thanks to all

You will have to tell IRCC about the fact that you were refused residence in the UK and explain the circumstances. It will impact your application, yes. It is still possible to get a PR with this on your record, but you can expect every aspect of your application to be very carefully examined.

In addition, distance learning degrees are often not accepted as equivalent to a Master's. Where did you get the degree from?

Don't think about omitting any facts. Canada and the UK share information and your immigration issues are certain to show up in a background check.

If you had a visa refused in the UK because you submitted a fake degree, you can fully expect that a visa application to Canada will attract a very high degree of scrutiny and review. Canada will assume you are submitting fake documents to Canada as well.

Thank you so much for your reply
I done distant learning from anglia Ruskin university it was a top up program through PGD diploma .
In Canada application there’s no fake documents at all.I also got NOC from
national Occupational Classification (NOC) 2011 and says I’m eligible of Canada laboure market .

Hi
Thank you both of you giving time and read my post . I know they do extra checks on my application but what if I honestly put all documents and tell them all my previous visa history?

You have not actually said where you were born. It's confusing when you say your father was British but you went to the UK on a permit.

So the chances are 50.50 even tho I’m eligible and submit all correct documents?
No one can tell you the chances.

The UK determined you had misrepresented. You requested judicial review and were denied. (Do you have a link to an online decision in that judicial review? I could look at it and try to learn more.)

Your immigration status in the UK is unclear - I'm not clear how you can have a UK citizen father and need a permit to be in the UK.

If you're applying under express entry, I have no idea what your chances of being invited to apply would be. I would say that you are going to get a much more stringent review of any application than anyone else, and it will take months to hear a final decision.

For you case, I would suggest you seek legal advice from immigration. Wish you the best of luck and don't give up as long as you are genuine this time.

Cheers
