No. Just because you are using two forms, it doesnt mean it is two applications.
One of your parents is principal applicant and the other is the dependent of the PA.
All forms together is considered as 1 application - 2 applicants. You mail every form all together.
Thank you

thank you for your response!
I have asked another question but not sure if you answered, but do you think we need to include a copy of divorce certificate? because they didn't ask for a copy either!
- i only ask this one more time because of your 'hero member' status, feels like you should know a lot lol
Sorry buddy. I am not sure what you should do here.
your parents are divorced and you are sponsoring them both? In that case, they can't be a dependent of the other. So, You may need to send two different applications. But I am not sure. You please consult an immigration lawyer.

I am confused on this because there is a drop down menu with this question to indicate your status in the country, and visitor is on the list, so I thought it would make sense to put Canada, and then status as Visitor?
yes you are right. Add the status to Visitor.

Question:

I want to sponsor my 2 parents, however there is a form for principal applicant (which i suppose is for one of my 2 parents), but where do i add the other one ? where can i say that i want to apply for my 2 parents ?

Yes. Usually they ask if the passport is valid for another 6 months. But in this case it doesn't matter as the processing time and issuance of the COPR is not anytime soon. So, You shall submit the application now and then update them of your new passport when u have it.
But, from the name, I am guessing you are from India. and if your are parents are still in India, I think you shall get the passport renewed in less than a week. So, it wouldn't hurt to renew now and submit the application with new passports.
Yes I am from India, but my parents are here in Canada for a visit, they just came 2 weeks before. Not sure how to renew their passport here. But if they ask for 6 months validity then I will submit now and they will renew their passport when they return back to India.

oh no, im only sponsoring 1 with no other dependents, nowhere on the application packages asks me to send a copy to prove they are divorced, so i wonder if i should translate that and send a copy regardless, it's ok no big deal
