Hi guys need some suggestion.

My current score is 449.I submitted my profile on 21st Jan 19. In my first IELTS I got LRWS 7.5/8.5/7/7 and my second attempt I got LRWS 8.5/7.5/7/7. Second applicant ielts is maxed out.
-Is there any chance for 449 in quite some next draws?
- Or should I try for ielts again to maximize my score?

We are at CRS 444. My husband's MBA from Annamalai University, Chennai was considered as 1 year PG Diploma by WES. Considering the current situation, should we try assessing his credentials again with ICAS or IQAS. Any information if ICAS/IQAS will consider his MBA as Master's? We will get an additional 7 points if his MBA is considered Masters.

Any information on this will be helpful for us to proceed further.

Thanks in Advance.
Looking at your CRS score 444, you'll definitely need to wait for sometime to get an ITA. The current flow of new applications is quite high these days and because of that, CRS is still above 450.

On contrary, it's advisable for you to definitely go for ICAS/IQAS to get your MBA reassessed to attain additional 7 points. You'll get your credentials assessed as Masters by any of these two authorities. Please refer to their website for updates on processing time and University acceptance before you begin the process. It's not late yet, start the process!!

Hi !

I summited my profile on April 3rd, 2019 - I got 451. I know that the last draw, the tie braking rule was on April 2nd 2019 with 451. To me, that means, the are now few at 451 as the last 2 rounds were at 451... so I hope score will go down further as it seems most of the 451 have now received an ITA. I hope this helps and keeps you motivated!
451 is a great score.

i had my crs score as 396 in 2015 then last year it became 377. then i decided to retake my ielts .... now i am 36 my crs is 442.... also given my phd for eca on april... they are still reviewing ....... if succesful phd eca i will have 456 .... but two question

1) eca is valid for 5 years only .. so if i get my ECA updated with my phd then my ECA will get extended validity ???
2) 442 a good score any chance of getting ITA.......

Thanks much for the reply. One small correction, it was not Annamalai University. It was Madras University where he did his MBA. I have checked the timelines for both the authorities. Shall check further and proceed. Thanks again

1. Validity of ECA Report - 5 Years - From Date of Issue
2. Very unlikely, current CRS trend is above 450 since February 20th

Also, please make sure to check - are these agencies do evaluate degrees for Madras University or not? There are few universities for which they have stopped assessing educational credentials now. Please do check this point as well.

If both of them do, then go ahead ASAP with any of these. Good luck!!

Guys, I have a query. Do you have any idea when the verification of work experience is conducted for the applicants?

Actually, I'm planning to switch my current job right after completing the 2 years in a row in August. So, I still have 3-4 months. Let's suppose, meanwhile this period I receive the ITA, so I want to know "Whether the eligibility is the only phase where work details of the applicants are verified!? And how do they do that? "

The primary reason why I'm doubtful about it is, because I want to keep my profile just as simple as it is with only "one employer". Once, I get the ITA I'll have to hold my plans of switching the jobs back, for the verification purposes. As, for the faster process, I can ask my manager whether they've received any emails from the embassy or not? So, yes, I do have the approach with my manager regarding that. Once, I leave the company I doubt if I would be able to do that.

I have also heard that once eligibility is met, 90% of your application has successfully processed, and the chances of getting a negative response becomes extensively less.

So, when does the work verification start? During Eligibility, IP1 or IP2?
Also, guide me through "Should I change my job or not?

If you guys can help me clearing my doubts, it will be appreciated!!
