How will it affect my PR process if I have MBA in Finance but worked as Software Developer all my career for 10 years? Will it be a problem? I am 35 year old.

Not under the FSW Class. You will get points for your MBA (assuming the ECA says it's a Master's), and you'll get points for your work ex. The two don't need to be related. Nothing wrong with working in a different field.

Naturally, you'll have to choose the right NOC (software engineer).

I don't know about the various PNP programs so maybe someone else can help.

Thank you, 21Goose. That's good to know. I will wait for others to comment on PNP or just ask it in PNP section.

Have you checked your CRS score? There aren’t any issue working in IT after you got an finance MBA.
