An interesting observation from my ppr mail which might be helpful to some ppl:

From my last GCMS notes obtained in March, my case was in CPC-Ottawa, and in the ppr mail it is also requested that the passport be mailed to Ottawa. However, in the ANNEX form attached after the mail, it shows PO CPC Edmonton (which is also highlighted). My guess is that maybe my case was re-distributed to Edmonton as Ottawa is flooded with huge loads of applications.

found out no big issue with my application.
I like you're positive but this may be a big issue because your CRS drops below the cut off if you don't get the sibling points.

But they are mentioning here the proof of sibling document for sister only and proof of PR and residency for brother only. No mentioning of sister's citizenship status.
That is quite strange that they would mention status of one sibling but not the other. I'm presuming for Sister's citizenship status you provided her Canadian passport copy.

Should I upload the documents again or I should just wait? I think its not a big deal but any insights from you guys would be appreciated.

@cansha I have seen you giving genuine advices. What would you advise me?
My advise would be to upload documents proactively. Now, given what you have provided it seems like you can't really provide more documentation to prove the sibling relationship. But, I think for brother's PR status you have provided PR card and mobile phone bill. My suggestion would be to provide two different proofs of residency status. So in addition to mobile bill provide say lease agreement, utility bills etc.

My guess a senior visa officer may accept proofs of sibling relationship but may still ask for additional proof of siblings' residency status in Canada. You should make sure that you have provided enough documentation to show that your siblings actually are living in Canada.

Just woke up and checked my account. It was a ghost update and my application finally moved to IP2.
AOR October 1.

I called CIC last week and they said the due date is 15 May.
Wow, it escalated so quickly. I Just receive the Ready for Visa email an hour ago (9PM EDT). The wait is over. This forum has helped me a lot during the last period.

I hope you guy receive your golden email soonest. It's just a matter of time. My application is straighforward and there wasn't any issues but it still took 6.5 months to get to this stage. So be patient and enjoy your time at your places while you can. (Now I feel even more worry about the future :D)
Here is the timeline for your information;

FSW-O
AOR October 1 2018
Medical passed October 30 2018
Biometrics request October 31 2018
IP2 and PPR April 4 2019.

Thank You for replying. I uploaded quite a few documents of my siblings Here are the documents I submitted:

Status:
Sister: Citizenship Certificate + Passport
Brother: PR Card

Proof of relationship of siblings:
Sister: 10th Certificate & Marriage Certificate
Brother: Passport + Marriage Certificate

Residency:
Sister: Driving License( recently renewed ) + Visa Bill + Mortgage Paper
Brother: Mobile bill + Driving License( recently issued)

My concerns are:
1. The case analyst mentioned only about sister’s relationship documents and brother’s residence. Could that be because he has doubts in those only? Since documents were in PDF with index of documents on front page of every PDF. No way he could have missed others.

2. And you suggest that I should provide more solid proofs of brother’s residency in Canada. I may go for visa bills. He lives with relatives so cannot provide utility bills. Is that all? Or should I provide all the documents all over again?

My AOR is October 2. I am also waiting for some update. When I called cic the agent said that if I don't hear anything my mid may then I should get in touch with them again. Now I don't know what to make of this. Is my new completion date mid may? I am still stuck in IP1 btw.

Made a chart showing rate of issuing PPRs per stream, based on the last 26 days on MyImmiTracker.
Chart link: https://imgur.com/a/rILwCFC

Some notes:
  • In the legend, the numbers are the total applicants receiving PPR in this period. For streams with a low total number of applicants, the statistics are less reliable due to less data.
  • The percentage (vertical axis) is how many applications have been approved after X months (x-axis).
  • The "India" specific ones are for applicants with India as country of residence.
  • ~80% of CEC applications are in fact approved after 6 months (matches CIC's estimate), but the rate for other streams is slower (7 months for FSW, 9 months for PNP).
  • ~90% of CEC and FSW applications are approved after 7 months (10 months for PNP). This means that for those of us in CEC or FSW, if you are past 6 months, there is a roughly 50% chance you will get PPR by 7 months. If you go past 7 months, then there is a 50% chance again that you will have PPR by 8 months. Of course, these probabilities do not take into account your personal circumstances. For example if you already passed eligibility, criminality, and security, then there is a much higher chance of getting PPR within a week or two.
  • After 10 months, there are very few PPRs. If you have to wait this long, there are special circumstances with your application.
Nice, good work

1. The case analyst mentioned only about sister’s relationship documents and brother’s residence. Could that be because he has doubts in those only? Since documents were in PDF with index of documents on front page of every PDF. No way he could have missed others.
I think mainly the analyst wants the visa officer to have a look at the documents and determine if that is sufficient evidence. Most analysts (my guess) expect to see birth certificates as proof and since that was not on your file (s)he just wants officer to have another look.

2. And you suggest that I should provide more solid proofs of brother’s residency in Canada. I may go for visa bills. He lives with relatives so cannot provide utility bills. Is that all? Or should I provide all the documents all over again?
There are two things in sibling points. 1. Proof of relationship 2. Proof that sibling is currently residing in Canada. Mobile bill is not a "solid proof" of residency and hence probably a reason why analyst mentioned that. In most cases, people provide more than one proof. Driving license is again not a very good proof because a person may have a driving license from Canada but not really living in Canada (I know you provided a recent one and hence the implication that sibling is in Canada recently).

In any case, I think the documents for your sister are better (Mortgage docs) and since you get same points whether you have one sibling or two, you can hold off on providing additional documentation. If the officer decides the "proof of sibling relationship" is sufficient, given the documents you provided for your sister alone should be good enough to get sibling points.

All the best!

Hi guys,
AOR: 02nd January 2019
Got my PPR on 3rd April 2019
Submitted my passport to Sydney (Australia) Visa Application center on 4th April. Sydney (Australia) Visa office received the passport along with the photos on 5th April. However, they emailed me to resubmit the photos on 8th April as they were not as per specification according to them. On 10th April, I resubmitted the photos. Anybody here had the same issue with the photos? Also, how long do they take in such circumstances, to return the stamped passport with COPR. Haven't heard from them since.

Posting in October group assuming that most of the October applicants must have received PPR by now and would be able to help.

Thanks in advance.
