I got GCMS notes from a friend of mine who got his PPR in late February. His AOR is 2 weeks earlier than mine and his GCMS were created on the day of his PPR so I can see all the history of the application up to the very end. I compared his notes and mine line by line and found that mine and my wife's criminality check started even earlier than his and his wife's. However, a little delay happened with my wife's assessment and due to the delay my file was put aside while his moved straight to eligibility check, which was done on the same day after the criminality was passed.

My assumption is that if there are some delays with the assessments then the file is put aside and no one touches it while other files with no delays are moving further. My assumption is supported by the fact that in the GCMS notes, there was delay with info sharing with the US but then the status changed to "Information received - Ready to be assessed", but no one started this assessment even when the information became available.

A small delay causes a big one afterwards, apparently.

Yes. Case Processing Agent checked Eligibility as "Met" on January 10th, 2019. The officer reviewed the file on February 26th, 2019, stating that Eligibility is passed and the application is RFV. PPR was issued on the same day. No specific date when Security was checked.

The officer rechecks POF, Employment duties and an applicant meeting the minimum FSW requirements.

Thanks this is very useful information. Do the notes provide insight into different eligibility status such as Met, Recommend passed etc. I am trying to understand if these terms are the same or vary from one stage of assessment to another.

My friend's file had only "Met" status. Then it went straight to "Passed" after the Officer made the decision.

There are many insights that we can get from the file. For example, I see that the status of the assessments, particularly "Eligibility" changes multiple times throughout the process, meaning that if you call CIC, you might hear different information on the status of Eligibility, depending on when you called.
In the friend's file, Eligibility had the statuses such as "Not started", "Passed - Candidate", "Review Required", "Met" and "Passed".
Most of the times, these statuses don't mean anything at all as they change through basic point recalculation. Btw, "Review Required" also doesn't mean anything in his case as, it is my assumption, that for everyone's Eligibility will have "review required" right before it has to be evaluated by a person.

The only time when "Review Required" is actually important is when the agent checks Eligibility and puts this status manually.

Hello guys, the long weekend is coming now. Good Friday and Easter holidays are mandatory leaves for Canada . Plus, Indian national election leave for NDVO. So three weekdays off!
Only Good Friday is a national holiday in Canada. New Delhi doesn't go to polls until May 11 or something, so there won't be any holiday in NDVO for elections.

Does this mean the officer started and finished your eligibility review in one day? That would give me hope.

Unfortunately, these are not my notes.
And I can't really tell how long it took for the officer to make the final review. What I can see is that the Agent put Eligibility as "met" on January 10th and that the Officer made the final comments and changed the status of the application on February 26th. Apparently, Security was passed somewhere in-between these dates.
