Guys according to a lot of experts with insights about the process
Any AOR that is after December 2018 will be as follows:
1) R10 and completeness check which takes place either with the MEP or 1 or 2 days after the MEP (according to trends)
2) next step is the criminality check (formerly known as ip1) this is triggered when the applicant receives the first ghost update after MEP and that happens usually 24 hrs after MEP.
3) You will get a second ghost update after submitting bios and that will be the start of the background check (formerly ip2).
4) After that the 3rd ghost update which will trigger the eligibility pass and hopefully the closeness of the ppr email ( I hope the best to all of us for that)

February 10 AOR...I called CIC yesterday and the agent said that eligibility and security not started yet and criminality is in the process ..I asked about R10 too and she said it's not done . My question is can criminality begin without completeness check or is it a part of R 10?

The agents often don't provide the correct information. What I mentioned above is the usual trend, it might be different for some cases but it is for most cases applied.

I think if you haven't got the BIL yet then maybe the agent was right and you haven't completed r10 yet, this is purely a guess of mine. Because usually nowadays the r10 is completed with mep and bil

I asked her the reason of delay also and she said that the total processing time is 6 months so u will get BIL when we require. I am little worried as everyone is getting BIL along with MEP

Don't worry at all in the Feb WhatsApp group a lot haven't received bil yet so you aren't alone

Hi... yes, online status doesn’t have anything like IP1/IP2. However, according to experts posts, the definition of IP1 is when the Background Status says “Yourapplication is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”. This is what my application stated on 6th April.

On 9th April, I got an email that my account has an update (I was expecting MEP), however, the Background Status again changed from the above stated to “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information”. This I believe is IP2, according to the various posts that I’ve read.

I did not say that I’ve “cleared” IP2, just that my current status is IP2. I haven’t even passed medical yet, and I don’t think many people are in IP2, without Medical cleared. I guess this again proves that every case is unique.

Inland have different bg checks than outs for the fsw we don't get the message saying " your app is in progress we will send you a message when we start the bg check" at all
