Leaving the country after applying citizenship

Hello,
I'll be completing my eligibility for citizenship soon.
I have received an offer to work in the UAE.
I was windering if I'll be able to apply for citizenship outside of Canada.
What is the process like? how soon after applying do I need to be present in Canada for the test ? How long does the process take?

just submit the application, wait for email and fly back to test, wait for email and fly back for oath. nothing special.

One more question: will I be paying taxes in Canada if I work in Dubai? if I become a non-resident or tax purposes, does it affect citizenship process?
I have a car under finance. Do I havw to sell the car before I move to UAE?
