Same here. I also thought that my file is very simple ...... Not many things to verify, so I might get ppr very soon. But now. .... 151 days since Aor , 29 days left .... .Still waiting

Hi all,

I spoke to a CIC agent yesterday. She said the application's eligibility is under review and after that the security and criminality would be completed. She was positive saying that application seems to be normal and they will send it within a month to local VO as my file is still in Ottawa. She even said if all goes well it might go within a week to local VO New Delhi. I just wanted to know whether the PPR email will be triggered after the file comes to local NDVO or it is triggered before they send it to local VO? Any idea anyone?

I believe ppr will be triggered when ur file will come to NDVO. And this is where you passport will be printed

In general, they do not send any mail notification about the same. It will be like a Ghost update. You have to login to your profile to find out. On the account home it says : You profile is updated and the background check status shows message like: We are processing you background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Anyone from Ottawa office has received any update, ecpecially a PRPF request, on this week?
Looking at the other posts I noticed that there were not a lot of updates of the files of the applicants who are proccessed at this office.

Hi All,

I am trying to register with Canada.ca job bank however post submitting all details it throws an error as below. I am using correct EE profile no. and job seeker validation code , not sure why this error is coming up in profile.

Is it that we need to complete registration in job bank within a particular time frame? Please suggest.

Error: You have entered an invalid Express Entry Profile Number and/or Job Seeker Validation Code. To avoid errors, you should copy and paste these codes directly from the message in your MyCIC account. If you are still having problems registering with Job Bank using these codes, please go to CIC Help Centre at http://cic.gc.ca/english/contacts for more information.

Even I am unable to create profile on Job Bank. Most probable reason could be expiration of Job Seeker Validation Code

Were you guys able to create a Job Bank account?
I am also getting the same error. Received my ITA in January and submitted the application in March.
If the code has expired, how do we get a new code?

IP2 is when status reads: We are processing your Background Check.....But it seems you are from a biometric country. For Countries with Biometrics required, status is IP2 from the date of biometrics itself.The good part is that your processing may be faster..Next step indeed is PPR ..maybe afer a ghost update.All the best
