Tourist visa rejection

My son is working in Canada on temporary work permit basis. So I was planning to visit him along with my wife. When we applied for a tourist visa, my wife's visa was approved while mine got rejected. Please suggest what can be done in such a situation so I can also visit Canada along with my wife.

What were the refusal reasons listed?

Following reasons were given-

• You have submitted documentation that lacks authenticity as part of your application. This has diminished the overall credibility of your submission.
  
  
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
