Greetings all,
Now I have something that I am a bit worried about.
I claimed my work experience from Dec 2016 up to Jan 2019 and this tenure is also mentioned in my reference letter. However, my work permit and my ministry contract was signed in Feb 2017 and not December 2016 (it takes time for the process of visa issuance here in the UAE). So now is there an issue with regards to the 2 months difference between my work starting date and my work permit issuance date?.

Regards

Not an issue. I had the same problem and when I ordered gmcs notes, my eligibility was "recommended passed" by case analyst

Another question please have you submitted the work permit to them? Or that difference was between your residence visa date and your job starting date?.
Because for me I have started working a couple of months even before getting the ministry of labor contract

My AOR is Dec 1. And I was registered as an employee under another company for the first 6 months I was working for my actual company.

The occupation in my residence visa also didnt match my actual position.

It doesn't matter as my reference letters are based on the truth and a call to my company would have confirmed it.
I also had bank statements and payslips which confirmed all this.

Aha i see but for me i worked two months without signing the ministry of labor contract did that happen with you

I mean, I was signed under the other company. I wasn't working on a tourist visa or anything.

I still don't think you have anything to worry about as long as your reference letter is accurate.

So you werent with work visa and you still claimed the experience? I am sorry bear with me please
And yes my ref letter is accurate, my appointment date on the system is the one that I started with

I was with a work visa, but under a different company than the one I was working for. I was a sort of freelancer before I joined my current company (the one I claimed points for).
In my ref letter I put in the dates of the 3 years I worked for them even though the first 6 months I worked with them I wasn't on their visa. I worked 3 years for them, I got paid for 3 years, and thats what my ref letter confirms. Make sense?

Anyway, don't worry about it. They don't look at the residence visa in your passport when they evaluate if your experience is legit. Other than your ref letter, they look at your payslips and/or bank statements to confirm you got paid.
You don't need to show a copy of MoL contract.

Aha i get you now and was that company related to your current company?
And yes thank you i get your point

Nope, not related. I just took my time to move my visa over. The process is a bit of a hassle so I procrastinated lol

Lol, ya tell me about it.
Just the only thing that is worrying me is that me not having the work permit yet for these 2 months will make them think that it was illegal or something

As i was on a student visa for this 2 months period

you're overthinking it. don't worry, you're fine. it only matters if you were in canada and this was canadian experience
Ya i tend to do that, thank you
Btw i have submitted the salary proofs of the last 6 months only before my AOR, do i need to send more?
