My AOR is 12th October.

My application was submitted through a consultant, so I don’t get the mails and I don’t have access to the online account.

But I’ve been checking my status through calls daily, to see if there’s any changes. Haven’t spoken to an agent yet though.

If nothing moves along till I hit the six month mark in two weeks, then I’ll call and speak to an agent.

Just wondering, would it make any difference if there was a mail/update for the change?
Didn't your consultant share the access for your online account?

Some people do not get any mail or ghost update about changes and then BOOM!! they get the golden mail.

That’s great !! Your file is not taking dust, they are working on your it so it’s positive.
I decided to stay positive too, since I went to IP2 on March 10 I was so stressed that I called 3 times per week
But this week I just called once and I decided not to call again and wait for the end of next week! We need to be positive and keep hope, it’s moving everyday :)
All we can do is just stay positive :)

Would love to see some movement on my file other than just collecting dust. Maybe April brings us good news

I don’t want to get my hopes too high about getting the golden email very soon.
Looking at recent trends, I’m trying to mentally prepare myself, incase the wait is long.
That being said, I’m gonna throw a party when I get the mail .

No, my consultant didn’t give me the details to access my account. But I didn’t ask him. He’s handled the application of my sibling too who already got her PR so I’m letting him handle it his way. I don’t mind it, it’s probably better for me this way.

That actually sounds much better since I login like freaking everyday in my account to check for updates and that adds more frustration. This way you atleast have some peace of mind.

Recent trend for FSW-O Indian is 150-190 days.

This is a long frustrating wait but it will all end well :)

Can someone who got PPR tell that what email we get in gmail when we get golden email? What is heading? So we get email straight away or update in CIC account first?

This is so frustrating.

ITA: Aug 14th
Submission: Oct 7th
Fees paid: Oct 7th
Meds passed: Nov 21st
VO: Ottawa

Then nothing since that!

Already asked for the GCMS notes right after the Meds passed, but nothing really substantional on it. I requested a second one, but it would take around 30 days to be sent - so I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Could anyone share the number they tried calling CIC?

Deadline is April 7th and I'm still on IP1.

You ordered first GCMS notes way too soon. Was R10 check completed for you when you ordered GCMS? Its usually better to order one after 3 months as that is when R10 checks are completed and you get a clear picture of where your application stand.

So you didn't get any ghost update either? This is the number +1 613 944 4000

I really find it strange that no movement has happened in your application yet. But then its Ottawa and they have recently become super slow :(

Give IRCC a call, I feel like you may have already had some movement.

Aor October 2 and same VO as well. I too was expecting some movement by now but sadly even I am still stuck in IP1. Have ordered GCMS notes and hopefully I should get them in the next 10 days or so. This is really frustrating especially because I raised a CSE and was told that everything seems fine with my application and no additional documents are required.

Update received 14th march 2019-we are processing your background check.

Since then awaiting for some good news to arrive, but another morning gone by expecting for PPR mail. Five months completed. It’s turning out to be a long wait. Seems processing time has increased due to a high inflow of applications.

I recently got to know that ppr mails may come in spam as well. Therefore I am afraid that I may have missed any such mail by clearing my spam mails with out paying much attention. However I have been checking carefully even the spam mails off late, and have recently moved to IP2. Can anyone please help by letting me know of any chance where ppr mail might have come before moving to IP2, i mean can this scenario happen?
Please if anyone has something to say on this

Hi guys. What does IP2 stage signify? Does that mean that only the background checks are pending?
If you are at IP2. The file is waiting for a senior officer's review. IRCC will re-calculate whether you meet the eligibility for the program based on the submitted documents. Passing the eligibility criteria is the most important thing. Your criminality must be passed based on the submitted PCCs. They will start with Security Check as part of the final step. Basically, the Canadian government will try and determine if you have any negative security history. Generally, the trend is once you reach IP2, chances of rejection are less but you never know. I hope this helps! If you have not ordered GCMS notes, you should consider doing it now.

All the best

Does the country you’re applying from also affect the processsing time?
