I sent it to Sydney only. It was later sent to Mississauga for further procession. My guess is that Mississauga was busy so they did not process it and put it aside to be sent to India which took a month.
Did u get an email from Sydney saying they are transferring it to Mississauga and then an email from Mississauga saying they are sending it to NDVO?

After sitting in Mississauga office (without being processed at all) for over a month, today my application was sent to India (New Delhi) for further processing.
Did you get a file transfer notice when it was sent to Missisauga? When was it? hope you can update it on the signature if its not too much to ask..Good luck at the NDVO!

I did not because I had a representative before, she must have got it and not shared with me. However, I called IRCC last week and they guy told me that my application is sitting in Mississauga and not being processed at the moment. He also told me that it will be sent to India and he don't know when.

It could be possible that all applications go to Mississauga before being transferred to VO. May be that was the case with mine as well. I don't know what exactly happened.

I just got an email from Mississauga today that the file is transferred to NDVO. I'm not sure if an email regarding transfer to Mississauga was sent as I had a paid representative before and she must have not shared the email with me.

Sorry to hear it had been sitting there for so long...but maybe ask for the file transfer date over the phone with CIC if you need to know more how it worked...Also for more processing details about Missisauga Office, you can see this post by @schweisy below, I think it's likely you might be getting a document request or an interview later with the NDVO:

I tried and they won't give a proper response. However, in late February when I called IRCC they guy told me that my file will be going to Mississauga. That makes me believe that my file was sitting in Mississauga for around a month.

Also, last week when I called IRCC, they guy told me that some officers like to update the status before they start processing and some do it after they are done and we all know every office is different and cannot be as fast as other. That is why some applications get updates in a sequence while others don't have one.

Is your application ore complex? How much time did you spend with your wife? Have you applied any visitor visa before applying the permanent residence ? Based on these they may transfer to NDVO.

I got married mid October, came back November 3 and submitted application on November 17.

I spent around 3 weeks after marriage. India wedding takes around 2 weeks with all the ceremonies and I could not get more than 5 weeks of vacation.

Also, due to my paid representative, the medical request email was lost and it took over a week to re-request it from IRCC. That could have delayed the application as well.

I had applied for visitors after marriage and once again after aor1, biometrics and medical. Refused both time. Does this help? Or make it more complicated?

Someone from UK on the forum told me recently that since she is from visa exempt country, she was just immediately sent the CoPR through the mail without PPR. Truthfully I don't know if the same thing could happen to US PA but all the same, I always imagined that the CoPR would be sent via post.

I noticed that for @heavenssecret, they received the DM on Mar 6/2019 and since then nothing else so I'm just thinking if the reason why it because of how long it took for it to get to them in the mail.

I'm just thinking this for my situation because we got DM on Mar 21 and by maybe we'll get some kind of communication as to what to do next within this week or else just CoPR directly sometime within the next couple of weeks.
it took a couple of weeks before I received copr because I wanted to mail the form back to them from Canada instead of the states. I figured it would be quicker.

when i go into the detail on ecas online tool by clicking the highlighted "Decision made" under the Permanent Residence tab, the last step I see is the one in which they asked me to submit the additional documents.

Question, did anyone who got a PPR and is an American Applicant have issues finding a courier to send the pre-paid self addressed Envelope to Canada?

We had a hell of a time and the only solution we found was via Fed-Ex. I had to sign up for an account and basically I sent a reusable envelope with our account number for them to charge (International Shipping label) when they send it back. I hope this works. I really wasn't sure what else we could do other than buying stamps from Canada post and making our own self-address envelope.
