Link for training material of NDVO visa officers to analyze genuineness of the relationship.

Interesting:

"The concept of Honeymoon did not exist in rural Punjab. However, now many couples from rural Punjab go for outings just for our benefit and to click photos for our sake..."
everything is true!
I don't know why you quoted what you liked or disliked above. By the way not many couples, now ALL couples go honeymooning regardless of their Canadian immigration or no immigration.

The picture of rural Punjab is somewhat true because culture and customs are tried to keep intact by the older generation who is living in joint families so has influence over the young generation. Yeah I learned, in rural areas, a living-in relationship is a no-no just like any other country(rural China, rural Middle-eastern countries, rural Pakistan, rural Afghanistan etc.) and even in Canada, some religious belief doesn't like a living-in relationship and western countries used to have no such concept of a living in relationships. Things have evolved with time here, they are evolving with time over there too.

Pakistan and India are very different countries and so are the religions(Hindu and Muslim). As a matter of fact, every country is. We can embrace the difference than thinking and pointing out what's right or wrong. It's their culture.

Some people have used these things for their advantage so the immigration process is different and become difficult for Indians and these people have made genuine cases go through the same process too. If you are not Indian, you don't need to worry. It could be worrisome for us.

I have a question.
My marriage certificate has my present address (Canada), I will be moving to another house in the month of May 2019; i will submit the webform to notify them about my address change but will it impact anyway on my application ?
No need to notify them. Its just a suggestion. It will only slow your processing.
I disagree. You have to notify them once your address is changed. Don't wait until they find out and start deeper investigation, and I know the investigation WILL slow your processing for sure.

Hi we submitted his application last January 24, 2019 again, because last year we do have his application ,everything was approved like interview but it was inland application. But my husband left Canada because he doesn't have any status because they denied his TRV. When we went to the Immigration consultant he said it's fine if he doesn't have any status here and we are not informed about it. So we submitted another application this January 24, 2019 and AOR was received and it says medical received too. which mean they got it from his previous application. and now they sent us a letter asking for his biometrics. Just want to know if he still need to do medical because he did his medical last year April. ?and if there's any possible way that his application is much faster now because of our previous application. BTW we withdrawn his application as advised too by the Visa officer who did an interview. Thank you

Medical will be valid for one year. Meaning if you can't land by April 2019 then it will expire and you are gonna have to do another medical. If you are not 100% sure you can get COPR by april, I would suggest to book a medical exam now and upload the information sheet through webform, and tell them the whole situation, so saves time in the future.

Technically speaking you are going back to square one, but since it's already approved (if it was approved after the interview) last time, I believe this time can be a lot easier, and you must be having a lot more supporting document than last year, so the eligibility check will be smoother than last time too. Good luck!

.

It was approved last time like the genuinely of our relationship.,but because it was inland application he can't go back to Canada because all his Tourist Visa application was all denied even thou we attached the Interviewer letter that we need to do the interview together so it end up , just me who only interviewed for 2 and half hours because I'am a filipina and his Indian. After not seeing for 1 year we did travel to Philippines last February 2019 so he can also meet my relatives. Can i submit all the photos that we had right now?or wait for the request of additional docs. Thank you.

Does anyone know of any cases where applications are returned after ecas been updated? My ecas hasn't been updated since March 7th and im getting really anxious now.

My sponsorship approval shows in progress without AOR1.

I hope my file will not be returned

Submit it when you have a file transfer to the VO or Cpc-Missisauga. By that time there should be some people start looking at your file for eligibility check. You can also include a letter explaining what happened last year it will help them to catch up and knowing your relationship is genuine. You don't have to wait until they start asking you for additional documents.

There are people getting returned after seeing ecas. There are people getting returned after AOR1. There are people getting revoked even after getting PR.

But you are not them, and we don't know your case, no one has answers like this here. You have to wait.

I think we're all in a (seemingly) long wait until at least 5-6 months have passed. Until then, there probably won't be very much action for many of us. Time to put the feet up, relax and forget about it for awhile.

Hi! I received a letter instructing to pay the biometrics. After payment has been made, when Can I do my biometrics? Should there be another letter for that?

anyone else not able to sign into their GCKey account? Everytime i try it takes me back to the IRCC website.
This was happening to me all the time on Google Chrome. I find I can log on much easier on Firefox. Give it a try! :)

Thank you. I was merely asking if anyone knows cases of applications being returned after seeing an ecas update. Not if my application will be returned or not. Ofcourse nobody here would know the answer to that.

Im guessing one of the reasons my sponsorship approval is taking time could be because I don't have the NOA since this is the first time I'll be filing taxes in Canada. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst

You should wait for Biometrics request letter. It will be sent via GCKey if you have an account there.

Was NOA necessary according to the checklist (Im sure it's important but is the a must)? If you think it could be a problem, submit it through webform once you get your case number from them. But until you get the file number from AOR1 all we can do is stay fingers crossed!

Hi! I have payed for the biometrics on March 5th and on March 7th I received the reception of payment but nothing since then and the last day for biometrics to be submitted is April 4th .

Anyone in the same situation? Why it takes so long...should I reach out to them already? Thanks!
Hi!
Are you sure that you have to submit biometrics data by April 4th, not payment?
In my case, deadline for biometrics submission was mentioned in Biometrics Request but not in a payment request.
