Hi, I have applied for the Canada PR for my 2 years old daughter under family class sponsorship. I have my elder son living with me in Canada. Please can you guide whether child tax benefit from CRA would come under the category of social assistance? Would it affect the application of visa for my daughter?

I asked the staff she said if I received any social welfare I'm not eligible for this service, and actually they asked about the welfare questions in the assessment, https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/frm-19284.pdf. Maybe this service is not considered social assistance?
