Just wanted to give you both an update since you both were inquiring about the Buffalo office. I just looked on CIC and the Buffalo location changed. An appointment is now required. The good thing is that its more than just 11-2, it looks like there are more time-slots available.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/where-to-give-biometrics.asp

Buffalo has been changed from VAC to now ASC. Type in Buffalo and find out more information regarding that location on the site. It will give you a link to a site to set up an appointment.

Notes say:
  • ASCs only collect biometrics
  • You must already be legally in the U.S. to go to an ASC

No, you have 30 days to complete it, not 30 days for them to receive it.
Ohh... got it. But how do they know that the PA got the medical done if they dont receive anything within 30 days? Or they don't care until they receive the report and then check the date on it??

The following is nothing more than my thoughts, but it might help.
When you're doing an exam via eMedical, a physician is registering you in their system, so they have all your data. At the moment of an exam they probably already entering all the required data about you, so it'll be reflected somewhere that you actually have been on an exam and have seen a physician. And then goes that period of "passing" an exam, that can take 2 weeks for all your results to be ready, to be uploaded and received by CIC. So if your 30 days mark passed and an immigration officer looks at your file, they will probably see the status and that your exam is waiting for the results.
But again, it's nothing more than my speculations.

Hi Guys,
My wife got her medical done on 13th March and so far there is no change in medical status in our cic account. The 30 days end on 30th March. I was wondering if I should upload the medical receipts as proof through Web Form just to be on the safe side. Any suggestions?
As long as you finished your exam on time it shouldn’t be a problem. But call your clinic to double check if they uploaded your results. Sometimes it doesn’t show on website even they uploaded already. It will show until a CIC doctor reviewed your results.

If you’re still worried, you can send a scan copy of your information sheet via webform along with all the receipts you got from clinic. (most likely cic has already seen your information sheet when clinic put in your information before exam, but I can’t confirm on this)

Hi all,
Do anyone know if IRCC will accept copy (not original) for the police certificate? My rep told me scanned copy is fine and submitted the application already. Kinda worried now. Thanks

We submitted a copy of my husband's police certificate and we were fine. But definitely check if it is a country specific thing!

I remember we originally planed to submit a photocopy of the police cert lawyer said it's okay(we ended up submitting original copy though), but ultimately they may send request for the original copy. Can't say this would apply to other cases maybe it's country specific.
