No email , just change in status
Yea me too. I saw DM on ECAS on Saturday but haven't received the email yet, biometric letter received but no medical yet.

It's funny how they change their routine with every batch... people with applications received first 2 weeks of January all had medical requests and no biometrics and now we have the biometrics request but no medical. I know it'll come soon but it seems like one man is running the show! NOT complaining though as long as they keep moving forward:D

I have not received anything on Biometrics. No further update after DM in ECAS. Hope the VO gets time to update it soon.

Hi all,
I am sure everyone's application has been seeing some progress.
I received AOR1 on Mar 1, 2019 and received an email on Mar 15, 2019 stating my spouse's application has been forwarded to Singapore.
However, I did a typo in her place of birth. Mistakenly it was put as CANADA. I have sent a WEBFORM on Mar 1 and another IRCC agent put the same request on Mar 5 after I received Bio-Metric Request Letter as it says my spouse's country of birth is CANADA. Till now, I have not received any communication when it will be fixed and no new Bio-Metric Letter has been sent with correct country of birth. Meantime, they have sent the application to Singapore without fixing the typo, seems so weird to me. We are worried as the initial bio-metrics letter has a deadline to do it by Apr 5. Anyone's have any comment?
Thanks so much. Very best everyone.

@JoshC I just noticed that all the formulas in January Outland sheet are calculating from 3rd row rather than 2nd. Can please fix that?
All sorted, thanks for highlighting it.

Anyone sponsoring someone from Central America? If you know your file may be sent to Mexico VO please keep us posted.

I have heard that previously that VO is particularly slow so would be great to see some timelines for 2019.

Should be sending my application next week I'm Canadian citizen sponsoring my Nicaraguan spouse.

Best of luck to everyone!

Hi to you both! Yes, I'm Canadian born and sponsoring my Costa Rican husband. Everything was going fine until IRCC put the wrong surname on my step-daughter's medical request and I have been waiting for them to correct it since Feb 28th. I just sent another email through webform on Friday, 15th explaining my concern for the 30 day timeline.

I've heard Mexico City VO is slow as well and was hoping for Mississauga, so have to keep fingers crossed. Good luck to you both as well! :D

This sounds a little like my situation, except that it was IRCC's mistake and not mine on the incorrect document. I'm not in Canada right now or I would call them, and that's the only suggestion I have for you right now, unfortunately.

If you are in Canada, try calling them, express your concern for the timeline and see what they tell you. You're right, it does seem crazy not to correct it first, but who knows how their system works :)

It says at the beginning of the info on webform that sending multiple requests for the same issue will not get you an answer faster, so I'm already concerned about sending two, but I think we need peace of mind, so try calling.... and good luck!

I just received my e-medical copy vial email. I'm just wondering what does this means?

Note:
• Any further queries about your visa application and/or your health examination results should be directed to your IRCC visa officer. Staff at a panel clinic will not be able to help you with these queries.

• If you have not yet lodged a visa application, you must provide the health identifier on the top of this letter (i.e. UMI, UCI, IME) to IRCC. Please make sure that you attach this letter to your visa application before submitting the form to IRCC. This will facilitate processing of your visa application.

Can someone explain the second note to me?

You already have DM in ecas , what kind of SA are u waiting ?
They send an email to sponsor stating your have been approved as sponsor. That's what I understand, there were messages here people getting this email.
Or just change in status as DM is considered as SA? I am not sure.

@dorkismalorkis from the December crew is sponsoring her Costa Rican PA, so you might want to keep an eye on her application's progress.
