Hi,

I am seeking help and will be grateful for any advice.
My girlfriend got her visitor visa extension refusal letter on Monday March 11, 2019.Her ETA expired on Feb 3, 2019. Her agent's emailed her extension to IRCC on Jan 11, 2019. The letter told her to leave immediately.
We moved in together on Feb 27, 2019. We were planning to get married later this year when her ETA was extended. I don't want her to leave Canada.
Here are my questions:

1. How can she stay longer in Toronto?
2. Does she need to leave immediately? Is within 30 days from March 11, 2019 reasonable?
3. Can I marry her through a Civil Ceremony, even though she is out of status then sponsor her as a spouse inland?
4. In Ontario, it usually takes 16 weeks from marriage date to get a marriage certificate. This means I can only apply for spousal sponsorship after I get the marriage certificate. Can she still stay here waiting for the marriage certificate?

1. She should apply to restore her status.
2. If she plans to leave rather than trying to restore her status, she should leave within 30 days of receiving the refusal letter.
3. Yes - you can marry her.
4. Again, if she wants to stay, she should apply to restore her status. She can remain until a decision is made in the restoration application.
