Hi all,

My file was received on Aug 15th 2018 and received the AOR on Nov 16th 2018. Since then the only update I had was Decision made on online status but no email/correspondence from IRCC.
So, I called the agent today and he said my sponsorship was approved on Feb 26th and I should wait 30 days for the email of confirmation.
He mentioned my LVO is NEW DELHI and my file is transferred there. BUT my parents are here on SUPERVISA for almost 18 months now and their present/current address was Canadian.
So how will my file be sent and processed in New Delhi? shouldn't it be OTTAWA? Has it happened to anyone of you guys as well?

Thank you. Please reply.
there is no connection between Supervisa and Ottawa VO so you can do Medical here and load all extra docs thru My CIC :p

Hi
Were you able to confirm this? My parents got a medical request form which they took to the IME center. The doctor said he will send the forms directly. But the application shows an area to upload 'proof of medical exam'. Is it okay to ignore this field and leave it empty?

Thanks
I have called them and also emailed them asking if we need to upload "proof of medical exam". According to the call center, we don't need to. Also my online status shows my parents passed the medical.

I was checking the SS and saw that almost after 2 and half months later ,you got the IME request when it reached SVO. Was the status in Client Portal got changed to ' In Process' from 'App Received' same day or it got changed few days prior before they sent out the IME request.

Had a question.

My parents are planning to come in a few months. Due to some family issues, one of my parents would have to stay back home in India.

My father is the PA and he is planning to come, stay for two months and return while my mother is planning to come as soon as my father goes back.

Do they have to come together or the PA can come first and the dependent can come at a later point?

Forum members please reply,

Is there anyone who didn’t get prearrival letter and got decision made ?

For parents already in Canada on supervisa or visitor visa, do they get prearrival also or only people coming to Canada from home country getting prearrival.

What comes first prearrival or decision made?

I honestly didn’t notice when it was changed to “In process”. I don’t pay attention to subtle changes in ECAS to guess what CIC may be doing.

The dependent(s) can land with or after the principal applicant.

Hi, we received PPR on 13th March. It’s stated that the passport shall be valid for at least 12 months. However, my Mom’s passport is only valid for 10 months. Do we need to renew the passport befor sending to the embassy?

Do i need to contact CIC before changing the passport?
Has anybody have a same experience?

I’d probably renew it before sending the passports. It says that it “shall be” valid for at least 12 months. So, it’s not a suggestion, it’s an instruction.

Said: “Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter. ”
